Welcome to Cardigan Bay Camping
About the Farm
Cardigan Bay Camping is a family-run working farm. On our 100-acre farm, we have a mix of Hereford and Highland cattle and a flock of sheep. They are not the most talkative of neighbours but they are friendly enough. The cows and sheep are a treat for the kids to spot from a distance.
Our farm has coastal views overlooking beautiful Cardigan Bay. To the south, there are spectacular views of the Preseli Hills, an occasional flash from Strumble Head Lighthouse, and a simply stunning sunset.
Here, with your friends and family you can enjoy the best of relaxing back-to-basics coastal country life with its sights and sounds; explore the area by day and sit around a warming campfire by night.
We’re a 25-minute walk inland from the Pembrokeshire Coast Path part of the famous 970-mile long Wales Coast Path and just a short distance away from a whole host of historic & leisure attractions. Just follow the footpath up through the winding valley from Ceibwr Beach into the woodland and up the hill until you find us.
We have a variety of accommodation options available to suit all types and group sizes. We have family-friendly accommodation and accommodation for friends, hen-do’s and stag-do’s, and youth groups – including schools, Scouts and Cadet forces.
Are We Pet Friendly?
We’re a working farm. We’re working with animals every day and we love animals.
So long as your pets are friendly, we’re happy to welcome your furry besties.
Please do remember we have cattle and sheep – so, if you’re going to bring your dog, please bring a lead.
This traditional Welsh farmhouse has beautiful views and plenty of space to comfortably fit large groups. It benefits from a basic, but fully-functional, kitchen, a large living room, and a semi-private patio.
This is a snug and romantic space with beautiful views overlooking the sea and hills and has a beautiful view of the sunset. The enchanting and rustic setting will give you long-lasting memories!
This fun accommodation is ideal for an easy, back-to-basics catch-up with friends and family. It’s fully self-contained with a kitchen, full bathroom, accommodation for 12 people, and large common space.
Staying in our yurt area, you’ll be spoiled for views. It has incredible sea views. The site is tucked away in its own area. Put your feet up, enjoy a cuppa, and listen to the chorus of surrounding birdsong.
Pitch up where you can fit and enjoy awesome views of the sea during the day and enjoy spotting the stars and constellations at night!
What Cardigan Bay Camping is Close To
We are about five miles south of the historic port & market town of Cardigan. Cardigan has held regional and national importance since its founding in the late 11th century. The town was founded around the Norman castle. In 1176, Cardigan was host to the very first ‘Eisteddfod’ – the famous national Welsh festival of music, poetry and dance.

Arrange a Farm Animal Meet & Greet!
If you don’t fancy going anywhere and would like to enjoy your time on the farm with us, we will do what we can to arrange some time to meet the animals. This is a lot of fun for the little ones!
Covid-19 has altered the world.
Your safety and ours is very important to us.
Where we have common spaces (we have a small W/C block) we have looked at how guests can safely use these facilities.
Your health and safety is important to us – as is ours. Therefore, we have adjusted our booking and spacing requirements.
We are now taking additional time between stays. This gives us the time to more thoroughly sanitise areas for a safer experience.
We’ve also changed access enabling everyone to keep a safe distance from those not in their travelling groups.
For more information on Covid and how you may be affected, please see here.
