What back-to-basics immersion into nature wouldn’t be complete without a yurt stay? These simple structures have been around for centuries and are the ultimate experience for reconnecting with nature.
Our yurt is quietly tucked away on a hillside overlooking the Irish Sea. Stepping anywhere around the site there are luxuriously spectacular views that’ll have you staring for hours.
The yurt can accommodate up to eight people with a mixture of a double bed, and some fold up beds. For sitting, why not do it like our ancestors, and take a seat on a cushion on the ground?!
Guests have access to a cool little kitchen and an eco-friendly toilet and eco-shower.
The farm has several of our favourite views to watch the sea and landscape. But, far and away, there is nowhere that compares to the views the yurt has.
The yurt contains:
- 5 sleeping areas (1 double bed, 2x pull out mattresses, and 1x Jack & Jill style bed)
- Full kitchen
- Eco toilet and shower
And, benefits from:
- Indoor wood log burner
- Disconnect from the world
- The best sunsets
Yurts have been in use for three thousand years. They are portable, round tent traditionally covered over with skins or felt. They were perfect for nomadic people as they are easily erected and taken down. The structure consists of wood or bamboo latticework, a door frame, ribs, and a crown wheel.
Are We Pet Friendly?
Of course!
We’re a working farm. We’re working with animals every day and we love animals.
So long as your pets are friendly, we’re happy to welcome your furry besties.
Please do remember we have cattle and sheep – so, if you’re going to bring your dog, please bring a lead.
Covid Policies
Covid-19 has altered the world.
Your safety and ours is very important to us.
Where we have common spaces (we have a small W/C block) we have looked at how guests can safely use these facilities.
Your health and safety is important to us – as is ours. Therefore, we have adjusted our booking and spacing requirements.
We are now taking additional time between stays. This gives us the time to more thoroughly sanitise areas for a safer experience.
We’ve also changed access enabling everyone to keep a safe distance from those not in their travelling groups.
For more information on Covid and how you may be affected, please see here.
